Regular console games are still coming (heck Tsuchiya has even confirmed this is happening!) but games take time to make and the brand also has to expand in order to survive too. This is also why X DiVE exists, mobile gaming is extremely lucrative, especially in the Asian market where more people play on their phones than on consoles. Fully Charged was aimed at a young Western audience who probably haven't experienced the games before, Ability was aimed at older Japanese fans + the pachinko/pachislot market can be pretty lucrative in Japan, Capcom have made pachislot/pachinko versions of most of their IPs. While the whole "no-one asked for these!" having Rockman/Mega Man expand into different forms of media is a way of getting the brand out to a new audience who may not have even played a Mega Man game before, bringing more attention & fans into the brand. Fully Charged had concepts from Capcom themselves during development, both parties have to agree to have the project become a reality. Spiky constructed and distributed the actual physical cabinet unit. Here is the one where you fight Strike with the W background in the virus-like textured stage: Deleteįor Rockman Ability it was produced by Capcom, Enterrise is actually a part of Capcom Japan itself, it's their Pachislot/Pachinko division. A strong indication that Wily could be the final enemy in this game.

On a side note, though it seems twitch videos delete automatically if not archived, according to my research after I noticed I could not find most older videos on JKBGames page, I did watch a video that showed X fighting Strike in a virus-like stage with a Wily W in the background, and another with Zero in a kind of viral stage like the Strike scene but instead of the boss fight, it was an entire stage with lots of spikes, bars to hang from, more modernized looking advanced versions of some original MM classic enemies, like the Sniper Joe, Big Eye, something called Adhering Suzy (from the wiki) which is the eye enemy with a suction cup on each of its 4 sides in MM1 and even MMX4, etc. Problem is that if this fan made game takes too long to make, the designer might die before it gets done, then it will never be released unless he passes the project to multiple people first.
